Submittals a. Outstanding submittals are: 1. Signage color samples will be re-submitted to O'Leary Design Associates by M. Vila. 2. Flagpole was re-submitted and approved. 3. All air conditioning has been approved. b. Bermuda sod has been completed. 2. Project Schedule a. M. Vila stated that the park will be completed by October 20, 1998. b. Playground equipment installation has been completed, except for sand. c. Keith & Schnars was given the $53,000 check for WASA. Reimbursement check is to be sent to City for overage. d. Tony Tomei contacted FPL regarding power to park after final CO is completed. FPL will need electrical final ASAP. Target date will be .. Vila shall notify The City of Aventura 48 hours prior to any shut- down of roads. 7. Changes in the Work a. Change Order #3 is in progress. 8. Water & Sewer a. Water line changes are to be faxed to Keith & Schnars by Cartata & Associates. 9. General Comments a. Bell South pulled their lines. Loren Matthews has contacted All Sound Equipment and all their work will be completed October 16th. New telephone numbers for park will be 466-8556 and 466-8549. Two pay phones have been ordered and will be installed in two weeks. b. Payment for additional irrigation will be handled outside of contract. c. Picket fence to be touched-up by M. Vila before plants are installed. d. North portion of park (east property line) ficus trees have been trimmed by Luke's Landscaping. e. Vila & Son to gave Bob Sherman price to sod north side of park from picket fence to sidewalk. f. Building needs to be powered ASAP. g. Restroom water service pipe needs to change from 1" to 1-1/2" as per Dade County Building Code. c. Aerolite Louvers is on strike. Eddie Gonzalez submitted two new options for Cartaya to review. d. Cartaya is to give Eddie Gonzalez an answer on how the interior wall cells are to be tied in when the cells are poured. 8. Water & Sewer a. Water and Sewer began on July 22, 1998. Installation is completed. Water pressure test is scheduled for August 17th. Asbuilts need to be submitted to WASA by M. Vila. K&S says that it will take approx. 2 weeks before lab reports and As-Builts are approved by HRS and MDWASA. 9. General Comments a. M. Vila to get building permit for all shelters which will be inspected by Building Department. All other inspections to be completed by Keith & Schnars. Keith & Schnars will submit copies of shelter drawings to Cartaya & Associates for review and then deliver to Noe Martinez for approval. b. BellSouth is to begin on August 24 1998. BellSouth has submitted a revised drawing and will be using the same permit. BellSouth is to do the final hook up no later than Oct 1,1998. c. O'Leary Design Associates is to provide City with design and cost for additional irrigation along south side of Lehman Causeway. d.
