II. Approval of Minutes - March 10, 2004: A motion to approve the minutes of
the March 10, 2004 meeting was offered by Mr. Joel, seconded by Ms. Nesbitt and
unanimously passed. .
A motion to excuse from the March 10, 2004 meeting the absences of Julie Israel and
Ginger Grossman was offered by Mr. Joel, seconded by Ms. Nesbitt and unanimously
passed.
III. Beautification Awards - Committee members discussed the selections for this
year's awards and suggested improvements for next year's program.
IV. Old Business - Mr. Sherman reminded members of the Arbor Day celebration
and discussed upcoming recreational programs, summer camp, senior programming,
shuttle bus ridership and trips/tours program.
The next meeting of the Rotating Arts Sub Committee was scheduled for May 11, 2004
at 9 a.m. at the Community Recreation Center.
Mr. Sherman distributed a list of possible entertainment for Founders Day for
consideration and discussion at the next meeting.
Mr. Soroka noted that the dedication of the new park, known as Veterans Park, is
tentatively scheduled for the end of April.
The next Board meeting was scheduled for May 13, 2004 at 3 p.m.
There being no further business to come before the Board, after motion made,
seconded and unanimously passed, the meeting was adjourned.
