2002-058RESOLUTION NO. 2002-58 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA DEDICATING A TEN (10) FOOT WIDE EASEMENT TO FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT ON THE AVENTURA COMMUNITY/RECREATION CENTER SITE; PROVIDING FOR RECORDATION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE AIMS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Aventura requires electrical service to the new Community/Recreation Center located at 3375 NE 188th Street; and WHEREAS, Florida Power and Light requires a recorded easement prior to providing electrical service to the new Community/Recreation Center; and WHEREAS, Florida Power and Light requires a recorded easement to operate and maintain said electrical services; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. That the Easement dedication, as reflected on the attached Easement, inclusive of the Sketch and Legal Description, is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized to cause such Easement to be recorded in the Official Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida, subject to confirmation by the City Attorney as to the legal form and sufficiency of the Dedication and instrument of conveyance. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to take all action necessary to implement the purposes of this Resolution. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Rogers-Libert, who moved its adoption.
