RESOLUTIONS: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF A VENTURA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE A TT ACHED LEASE AGREEMENT WITH 2000 ISLAND BOULEVARD CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION, INC. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF POLICE RADIO FACILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE AIMS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 3. ADJOURNMENT. Soroka. City Manager TOmRj~ TO: DATE: October 19. 2000 SUBJECT: Williams Island Lease Attached is the new language for the Williams Island lease. This ties the cost of future lease renewals to the same increase unit owners will pay if the building maintenance fees increase. The renewal cost for further five year terms will be based on the initial five year lease cost of $25, 000 plus an increase equal to the percentage increase of the building maintenance charge applied to each unit owner within the 2000 building. RESOLUTION NO. 2000- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE ATTACHED LEASE AGREEMENT WITH 2000 ISLAND BOULEVARD CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION, INC. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF POLICE RADIO FACILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE AIMS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached Lease Agreement with 2000 Island Boulevard Condominium Association, Inc. for the installation of police radio facilities on real property located at 2000 Island Boulevard. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to do all things necessary to carry out the aims of this resolution. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner who moved its adoption.
