SUBJECT: Surplus Property
I would like to have the listed item, owned by the City of Aventura, declared Surplus
Property as per City of Aventura APDP, Chapter 6, Subsection 5, Page 1, as the
described item has met the requirements to be declared as such.
Due to a recent K-9 retirement I am requesting that K9 Angus, who was assigned to
Officer Jason Williams, be declared surplus. Due to age, Angus is unable to function as
an active duty K9.
I am also requesting that K9 Angus have his ownership transferred from the City of
Aventura to Officer Jason Williams. We have done this in the past with all other K9s and
their handlers.
