The project scope includes the installation of an access path across the existing drainage ditch, demolition/abandonment of the existing onsite storm drainage, rerouting of the storm drainage around the future site of the high school, site clearing of all invasive trees and relocating the berm from along 213th street to the north side of the property. Allowance costs are included for additional drainage rerouting, land clearing and berm relocation for the recently acquired additional property. The project scope is based on Construction Documents prepared by Joseph Roles and Associates, Inc. and coordination with the City of Aventura. The project duration is anticipated to be three months from date of Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. The following clarifications and qualifications are included as part of the GMP to further clarify the scope of work. General 1. The GMP does not include scope outside the limits of construction as inferable from the Construction Documents. 2. The GMP includes a 3 -month construction schedule, which is the basis for the General Conditions and the General Requirements. 3. The GMP includes Allowance #1 for permit fees or other governmental/jurisdictional fees. The intent with an allowance is to ensure the City pays for actual permit fees. 4. The GMP includes soil samples and soil density tests in accordance with industry standards. 5. The GMP includes a Builders Risk insurance policy. 31 A - Earthwork, Paving & Site Utilities 6. The GMP includes invasive species tree removal only. Palms and non-invasive trees are to remain. 7. The GMP includes costs to relocate the berm along 213th St. as indicated in Exhibit F. 8. The GMP does not include any costs related to handling contaminated soils. 9. The GMP includes costs to build access across the drainage ditch inclusive of a 30" drainage pipe to allow for the continued flow of water. Access to remain in place until backfill for the drainage ditch occurs. 10. The GMP includes Allowance #2 for the land clearing and berm relocation for the additional land the City is acquiring. 11. The GMP includes Allowance #3 for the extension of drainage to accommodate the additional land the City is acquiring. This allowance is based on the following unit rates for the extension of drainage piping: 30" HDPE installed at a rate of $195.20/LF and 42" HDPE installed at a rate of $207.87/LF. 12. The GMP includes the installation of 42" HDPE along the South side of the property in lieu of the specified 42" RCP. 13. The GMP includes all NPDES requirements as indicated in the plans, inclusive of a water truck to minimize dust. 14. The GMP does not include costs for filling in the drainage ditch following the drainage relocation. The GMP does not include sod or restoration of the area after berm relocation is complete.
