A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
AVENTURA, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF
MEMBERS TO THE CITY OF AVENTURA ARTS IN AVENTURA BOARD
FOR A TWO-YEAR TERM; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2-191 of the Aventura City Code provides for the creation of
an advisory board to be known as the Arts in Aventura Board; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Section 3.11 of the Aventura City
Charter, the City Commission wishes to approve the Mayor's appointment of members to
the Arts in Aventura Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby approves the appointment by the
Mayor of the following individuals to serve as members of the Arts in Aventura Board for
a two-year term, from April 2026 through April 2028:
Suzanne Abozina
Tam Gryn
Michael Jacobs
Harrison Soffer
Luli Sulichin
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Resolution was offered by Vice Mayor Bloom, who moved its
adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Ain, and upon being put to a vote,
the vote was as follows:
