I. Call to Order: ' The meeting was called to order at 3:02 p.m. by Mr. Davidson. The
following members were present:

Absent: Joseph Lekach
Others present: Ellisa L. Horvath, MMC, City Clerk

11. Public Comment: None
Ill. Approval of Minutes ® November 13, 2025 Meeting: A motion to approve the
minutes of the November 13, 2025 meeting was offered by Ms. Superfine, seconded by
Ms. Mairs, and, unanimously passed.
a. Review of Upcoming Events: Ms. Merchant provided an overview of the
following upcoming events: February Movie Night Double Feature (February 21), March
Movie Night Double Feature (March 7), Volunteer Appreciation Dinner (April 9), and Arbor
Day Ceremony (April 24). It was suggested that the date of the Volunteer Appreciation
Dinner be changed due to a Jewish holiday.
1 Ms. Lopez Varela arrived at 3:07 p.m. during the Review of Upcoming Events.

b. Discussion of the "Spread the Love" Event: Ms. Merchant provided an
overview of the plans to distribute roses in the school drop-off lines at the Aventura City
of Excellence School and the Don Soffer Aventura High School on February 13, 2026, in
celebration of Valentine's Day. Members were assigned to handle the distribution at the
two schools.
c. Review and Approval of the "GO Green" Award Application: Ms. Merchant
reviewed the Go Green Recognition Program Application, noting that there were no
changes from the previous year's application. A motion to approve the application as
proposed was offered by Mr. Naim, seconded by Ms. Mairs, and unanimously passed.
V. Selection of Next Meeting Date: It was the consensus of the Board to schedule
the next meeting for March 19, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
V1. Adiournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, a
motion to adjourn was offered by Ms. Rosenblatt, seconded by Ms. Mairs, and
unanimously passed; thereby adjourning the meeting at 3:19 p.m.
