June 24, 2024 Aventura City Commission Training Session (Form 1) t AVENTURA CITY COMMISSION FORM 1 TRAINING SESSION MINUTES JUNE 24, 2024 9:00 A.M. A training session regarding the revised requirements for the filing of the Florida Commission on Ethics Form 1 (Statement of Financial Interests) for members of the City of Aventura Commission was held on June 24, 2024 at 9:09 a.m. in the 5th Floor Executive Conference Room at the Aventura Government Center (19200 W. Country Club Drive, Aventura, FL). The following members of the City Commission were in attendance: Mayor Howard S. Weinberg', Vice Mayor Dr. Linda Marks, Commissioner Amit Bloom2, Commissioner Rachel S. Friedland3, Commissioner Billy Joel, Commissioner Paul A. Kruss4, and Commissioner Michael Sterns. Also present were City Attorney Robert Meyers and Administrative Assistant (Office of the City Clerk) Jay R. Smith. Mr. Meyers reviewed a presentation titled "Form 1 Overview — Presentation to Aventura City Commission," dated June 24, 2024, with the following information covered: Highlights, Primary Sources of Income, Second Sources of Income, Real Property, Intangible Personal Property, Liabilities, and Interests in Specified Businesses. Members of the City Commission engaged in discussions with Mr. Meyers throughout the session, based on the material covered. The training session adjourned at 9:37 a.m. Ellisa L.
