1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The meeting was called to order at 10:02 a.m. by Ms.

2. Approval of Minutes — February 21, 2023 and June 27, 2023: A motion to
approve the minutes of the February 21, 2023 and June 27, 2023 meetings was offered
by Ms. Weinberg, seconded by Ms. Schenkel, and unanimously passed.
3. State of the Center Report by Jeff Kiltie: Prior to the report, Ms. Bradshaw
reported on the renewed management agreement between the City and the Broward
Center, as well as the change in leadership at the Broward Center.
Mr. Kiltie distributed and reviewed a PowerPoint titled Aventura Arts & Cultural Center
Advisory Board Presentation October 17, 2023, highlighting the following items: 2022-
2023 Season "By the Numbers" Wrap Up, 2022-2023 Season Final Sales, 2023-2024
Season Announcement and Advance Sales, 2023-2024 Season Projected Performances
& Activity, 2023-2024 Season by Genre, 2023-2024 Season New Initiatives, and Trends

Ms. Fulfaro reviewed the sections of the presentation pertaining to Marketing Initiatives
and Making Headlines and Creating a Buzz.
Board Members provided comments and feedback on this section regarding interviews
with actors/artists to increase sales, tracking social media and sales, positive interaction
with the box office, and the use of digital tickets.
Mr. Kiltie continued with the 2023-2024 Season Programming, 2024-2025 Season
Programming What's Next, and 2024-2025 Season Programming — Who do You Want to
See?
Board Members provided comments and feedback throughout the presentation and
provided the following input for ideas for the next season: speaker series, interactive
programming, intimate concerts, wine/cheese event, jazz, plays, and one -person shows.
Mr. Kiltie and the Center's team were commended for the great success of the Center.
Mr. Kiltie announced the need for volunteers for the Center's tent at the City's annual
Founders Day event scheduled for November 12, 2023 at Gulfstream Park.
Ms. Bradshaw reported on the safety/security measures at the Center.
4. Other Business: The Board discussed the recent positive support for Israel shown
throughout Aventura and ways that members can help individually.
The next meeting was scheduled for February 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., by consensus of
the Board.
5. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, a
motion to adjourn was offered by Ms. Robinson -Kotler, seconded by Ms. Regev, and
unanimously passed; thereby adjourning the meeting at 11:10 a.m.
