Resolution No. 2023-47 Founders Park South Facility Project Change Order for Shade Canopy Structure - October 3, 2023 CITY OF AVENTURA RESOLUTION NO. 2023-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND OTHERWISE ENTER INTO THE ATTACHED CHANGE ORDER FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SHADE CANOPY STRUCTURE AS PART OF THE FOUNDERS PARK SOUTH FACILITY PROJECT, BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY AND BEJAR CONSTRUCTION, INC; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE AIMS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and otherwise enter into a Change Order for the Founders Park South Facility Project, by and between the City ofAventura and Bejar Construction, Inc., attached hereto and incorporated herein as specifically as if set forth at length herein. Said Change Order amount is $310,351 .91. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to carry out the aims of this Resolution. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Friedland, who moved its adoption.
