1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The meeting was called to order at 10:02 a.m. by Ms.
Elias. The following members were present:

2. Approval of Minutes — October 18, 2022: A motion to approve the minutes of the
October 18, 2022 meeting was offered by Ms. Scott Lotwin, seconded by Ms. Schenkel,
and unanimously passed.
3. State of the Center Report by Jeff Kiltie: Mr. Kiltie distributed and reviewed a
PowerPoint titled Aventura Arts & Cultural Center Advisory Board Presentation February
21, 2023, highlighting the following items: Mission Statement, "By the Numbers" To Date
Since October 1, 2022, 2022-2023 Season — Average Attendance by Genre, 2023-2023
Season Sales to Date, Founders Day 2022, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida's Sensory
Inclusive Nutcracker, Marketing Highlights, Social Media Overview, Projected
Performances & Activity 2023-2024, 2023-2024 Season Programming, and New Usher
Orientation.

February 21, 2023
Board Members provided comments and feedback throughout the presentation.
4. Other Business: The following additional items were discussed: the possibility of
an art exhibition at either the Center or another location in the City and advertising or
partnering with Brightline.
The next meeting was scheduled for October 17, 2023 at 10.00 a.m., by consensus of
the Board.
5. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, a
motion to adjourn was offered by Ms. Schenkel, seconded by Ms. Forchion, and
unanimously passed; thereby adjourning the meeting at 10.50 a.m.
