EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES

In accordance with Section 447.605 (1), Florida Statutes, the City Commission met in a
closed-door Executive Session to discuss police collective bargaining negotiations, in the
5t" Floor Executive Conference Room at the Aventura Government Center. The session
was held on August 12, 2022 and started at 9.37 a.m. The following members of the City
Commission were in attendance: Mayor Enid Weisman, Vice Mayor Denise Landman,
Commissioner Rachel S. Friedland, Commissioner Billy Joel', Commissioner Dr. Linda
Marks2, Commissioner Marc Narotsky, and Commissioner Robert Shelley3. The following
were also in attendance: City Manager Ronald J. Wasson, City Attorney Robert Meyers,
Assistant City Manager Bryan Pegues, and Finance Director Melissa Cruz.
The session ended at 10.09 a.m.
