MEETING MINUTES

I. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 3:01 p.m. by Mr. Evans, Chair.

II. Public Comment: None.
III. Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve the minutes of the April 23, 2015
meeting was offered by Ms. Kaplan, seconded by Ms. Aloni and unanimously passed.
IV. Staff Reports: Mr. Sherman reported on the following items: Summer Camps,
Not So Senior Prom, and Shuttle Bus Ridership Update.
Mr. Sherman discussed the plans for Founders Day as follows:
• Ticketing options - $5 for residents, with a pre-sale offered September 1st to
October 16t n, and $10 for non-residents starting October 17th
• Streetbeatz (an interactive youth group) and RITMO (a Latin band) as the
opening acts, with the band Air Supply performing the main concert
• The Founders Day plan and ticketing options will be presented to the
Commission at their June 23rd Workshop Meeting for approval
• Commemorative T-shirt designs were distributed ($10-$12 per shirt)
A motion to recommend the ticketing plan presented was offered by Ms. Aloni,
seconded by Mr. Evans, and unanimously passed.
Mr. Sherman reported on the following additional items: July 11th Movie Night (for
Grownups) and July 4th Fireworks.
Ms. Aloni discussed National Senior Health & Fitness Day.

The next meeting was scheduled for October 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
V. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, a
motion to adjourn was offered by Ms. Lotterman, seconded by Ms. Aloni and
unanimously passed. The meeting was adjourned at 3:09 p.m.

tennis.

Featuring hot dogs, burgers, French fries, burritos, quesadillas,
pizza, fish tacos, nachos, empanadas, steak sandwiches,
kosher style food, falafels, pitas, grilled cheese, churros,
desserts, frozen yogurt & more.

(State and Regional champions that are heading to Nationals this summer)
Wizard Of Oz
Come travel over the rainbow with Dorothy and relive her experiences as she meets
three new friends on her journey down the Yellow Brick Road!! You will meet the
Scarecrow who is in need of a brain, The Tinman, who will sing to you a song about
what he would do if he only had a heart and the Cowardly lion that melodically explains
how sad he is because he does not have courage! You will also encounter the Wicked
Witch of the west as she tries to steal Dorothy's Ruby slippers while she seeks
protection from Glenda the Good Witch and the Grand old Wizard of Oz!! This
production comes complete with sound, props, sets bubble and fog machine!!
Frozen Birthday show
With Frozen still being a popular show and the release of Disney's six minute "Anna's
Birthday video, we can incorporate a new show coinciding Princess Anna's Birthday
with the City's Birthday.
1995 Diva Tour
Local recording artists Michaela Paige, Ariel Rose, Kid Cadet, Joselyn Rivera &
Cameron Wheeler singing popular songs from 1995 such as:
