Soroka, ICMA -CM, C anger DATE: September 8, 2015 SUBJECT: ACES School Improvement Pla September 17, 2015 City Commission Meeting Agenda Item sg RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Commission approve the School Improvement Plan for ACES for the 2015/16 school year. BACKGROUND Every public school is required by State law to develop a School Improvement Plan (Plan). In our case the Plan must comply with the guidelines established by the Miami - Dade School Board and contain the school's measurable objectives for the school year. The Plan includes baseline standards of achievement, outcomes to be achieved and methods of measurement. The Plan was developed based on input from the ACES School Advisory Committee and the EESAC. The Plan will be presented by staff at the September 17, 2015 Meeting. EMS /act CCO1904 -15
