OMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD MEETING . ��' April 17, 2014 —4 p.m. n,\%° Government Center Executive Conference Room Aventura, Florida 33180 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jonathan Evans. City Clerk Teresa M. Soroka called the roll. Members present: Marjorie Aloni Jonathan Evans Sandra L. Kaplan Denise Landman Julie Shapiro Members Absent: Eric Berger Joan Robbins II. Public Comment: None. III. Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve the minutes of the February 26, 2014 meeting was offered by Ms. Shapiro, seconded by Ms. Kaplan and unanimously passed. IV. A. Community Garden Project: City Manager Eric M. Soroka advised the Board that the total members to date is 11 and five planters have been rented out of the 12 available. B. Founders Day: Community Services Director Robert M. Sherman reiterated the date as November 9, 2014. It was suggested that he research the possibility of adding the Green Market to this event. Mr. Sherman then discussed the following: spring camp, volleyball, movie nights, splash pad, Arbor Day, Senior Prom, Senior trips and tours, green market, shuttlebus ridership, summer camp and July 4th fireworks. V. New Business: The next meeting was scheduled for September 11, 2014 at 4 p.m. VI. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board, after motion made, seconded and unanimously passed, the meeting was adjourned at 4:18 p.m. Teresa M.
