ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTER
ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
May 18,2010 -10:30 a.m.

I. Call to Order/Roll Call: The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gloria Muroff at
the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center.

Dr. Jules Oaklander
Lenore Toby Simmons
Members absent:
Nancy Gillen Doyle
Ibis Romero
As a quorum was determined to be present, the meeting commenced.
II. Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve the April 20, 2010 meeting minutes was offered
by Ms. Bloom, seconded by Ms. Simmons and unanimously passed.
Members then took a tour of the new facility.
III. Staff Reports. Director Steve Clark provided members with a monthly calendar of events
for the AACC through May 2011.
IV. Other Business: None.
V. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, after
motion made, seconded and unanimously passed, the meeting adjourned.
