Country Club Drive Aventura, Florida 33180 May 12, 2009 -10:30 a.m. . ,.~ 1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gloria Muroff. Members present: Members absent: Amit Bloom Barbara Brodsky Nancy Gillen Doyle Judy Scott Lotwin Gloria Muroff Dr. Jules Oaklander Ibis Romero Lenore Toby-Simmons Daniel Adai As a quorum was determined to be present, the meeting commenced. 2. Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve the April 15, 2009 meeting minutes was offered by Dr. Oaklander, seconded by Ms. Bloom and unanimously passed. 3. Summary of Individual Meetin~ts (PACA1: Shelley Bradshaw, Performing Arts Center Authority, addressed the Board and reviewed the consensus of members' responses to the questions posed during the individual meetings. 4. Project Update (City Manaaerl: Mr. Soroka presented slide photos of the facility under construction. 5. Other Business: Next Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. 7. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, after motion made, seconded and unanimously passed, the meeting adjourned at 11:25 a.m. Teresa M. Aventura Arts & Cultural Center Rental Rate Schedule 2009/2010 Season Base Rent includes load-in on the same day and single performance or event lasting no longer than 3.5 hours. Additional hourly rates apply if the performance exceeds 3.5 hours. For multiple performances on the same day, the rent increases by an amount equal to 50% of the base rent for each additional performance.
